Flipping normal map question.

Heres my xoliul viewport image (flip greens unticked)

And here's my crappy render. The normals seem messed up. I used standard and plugged into bump.
I have tried going into photoshop and inverting the green channel but it doesn't do anything.

Any suggestions? Its probably a simple thing, or me getting it completely wrong:S
