Sailor Moon (WIP)

So I have decided to look over my past, to recapture the good old days when i was little boy. So i looked at some old shows i used to watch, and one of them was sailor moon so I am going to make her my first character model.

So to kick this thing off I made a ref sheet.



As you read this i'm making the base ortho sketches right now

Well i want this to be a day buy day thing so on day one i made the basic body drawings

I like to see anime styles realized in 3d, I'm keeping an eye on this! Good job with the sketches so far but show us more!

Hah. My favorite anime when I was 10 year old. Still would watch if it would be in TV though

END OF DAY 3
Still working on this thinking of doing the basic body mesh (on 3ds max) now and then complete the clothed sketches. Also can someone point me to some good zbrush tutorials other then whats on the zbrush (just for later)

So i started to make the head of the base mesh. I did poorly so i went to the internet for help if anyone know any good tutorials please post.(using 3ds max)

I can understand wanting to draw it out yourself, but what you've got so far is vastly different from the perfectly good ortho image in your reference sheet. I'd base your model off of that instead.

I agree with haikai. Use a good proportioned ref to go off. You will get a much better result
