Hay everyone. Probably shouldn't have created a thread for this but I saw a rad piece of art by "Ape74" (His art page...http://ape74.deviantart.com/) and decided to put my own spin on top of someone elses ahhhhh spin.... Still plenty of work to go but....whatever just gonna have fun.

I Popped a bit of extra light on the sign and also dropped down the horizontal lines going over the whole thing which I hope helps

how did you achieve the facehugger inside? is it just in the texture or is there a mesh inside and some schmancy translucency going on?

@ ScudzAlmighty: hehe thanks. Yeah, There is a little Facehugger inside and some translucency on the Egg. If I can ever pull my finger out I would like to do a little interactive animation on it.

Updated the lighting, some texture stuff, added a new Facehugger, added slime to the floor. Still gotta add the sign and egg slime.

I think you should make the sign more creepy looking, having the ultra realistic egg and then the sign like that it sort of looks out of place. Or maybe not even have the sign at all, the egg is awesome on its own, could just title the piece Free Hugs in reference to the original artwork.

Such an awesome piece! I know you called it done but I think popping the sign out a bit more with light would help the picture.

Hahaha, super cool. The normal map is translating your sculpted detail wonderfully.
