on the site it says it adds a banner, I'm assuming thats renders only, so it could still be used (non-comercially) with CrySDK?

I swear I once saw something about help for unemployed artists on the autodesk site, but now I cant find it. Anyone got a link?


I've been using work-arounds and free aps for years now, but I feel like my lack of experience in 3ds Max is holding me back. Its like the common language in the industry.

Any of autodesks student versions are full featured, just non-comerical uses only.

The only difference is that when you open a file created in a student copy it'll tell you it was ma in a student copy. It won't affect your renders

It just adds a popup message when saving and opening a file that says it was created with an educational version. Otherwise it works exactly the same.

as long as you have an .edu email address you can sign up right away. I don't remember the other limits or rules.

An i haven't gotten pop-ups when opening my uni files at home. We have 2010 educational in uni and i have 2012 edu at home.

Must just miss or ignore it ;')
