Anyone else tried the demo yet?

I thought it was pretty great, the killcam is very rewarding for getting a long range kill. It's quite satisfying already getting a long range headshot and judging wind and calming your BPM.

It's also good that you can also take out groups of enemies with a single bullet by either lining them up on shooting on there grenades, keeps you from getting repetitive headshot after headshot. :P

I fear just like the original i think this game is under the radar due to hardly any marketing.

Played the demo bout 3 times .I love the overall gameplay but the final game better have wider levels not one street and sideways buildings .But the detail in kill cams is nice lol shooting a grenade on a soldier will explode .

Is it more like the first (hard enough) or is it simplified? Because I read somewhere that when in scope-aim, the game shows you where the bullet will hit, which would be a huge bummer.

Stealth like the old one, or just an action shooter with a cover system?
Wind, bullet drop etc. still there?

If its like the old one and/or improved (note: improved, not just altered), i will definitely buy it, loved the first.

If you play in easy mode then yeah the bullet hits exactly where your crosshair is. The next level in difficulty adds the BPM mechanic and more scope sway and then the next difficulty adds the wind mechanic. Much better than just decreasing the players HP for each level of difficulty.

Definitely needs to played more strategically and plan you moves on the harder difficulties.

Favourite random thing so far: I was replaying the mission, and at the endgame when you're supposed to stop the convoy in order to kill the scientist... I instead waited until the middle truck was near the explosive before shooting it. BOOM. Mission accomplished.

Next time round I'm gonna try and snipe him while he's still in the truck...

It is fun! I have ran through it twice. And at least one of the enemy snipers changed position. It is nice having random enemy spawns so you can't just memorize their location. Of course the second sniper was wall hacking me and firing through a building.... But still a lot of fun.

I think he is invisible while hes in the truck for some reason. I tried to do it, after I read your post, but yea.. You can see only two - three soldiers (the ones sitting towards the exit) and the scientist becomes visible just about when hes about to exit the truck after you blow up the satchels. Then again, maybe i was aiming from a weird angle or something like that.

You can also shoot the gas caps, just like in the original, to take out the whole vehicle. Pretty neat theres multiple ways to handle each situation.

I had the pleasure of working on this game, was good fun, and its great to see all the awesome feedback from the demo. I was the main artist on the demo level for 6 months , so feel free to give any thoughts. Im looking forward to release so i can post some of my work up.

just finished this the other day on 360, pretty fun. gets a bit repetitive and a bit simple gameplay wise, but always satisfying to snipe and see that killcam.

Yeah the game is to keep forever, probably to help build some interest in the next installment to the franchise. I started playing some co-op last night with a friend and it's actually a ton of fun, but my game stutters a lot so I'll have to do some research on how to fix that later.

I also have sniper elite: Nazi zombie army 1 & 2 and are just pure fun. If you like the Sniper Elite V2 co-op mode, you'll love killing zombies .
