[WIP] Savage Model 10 BAS-K -> Comments and Criticism requested

Hey All,

I've been working on this gun model for a short while now and have reached a wall, I was hoping to get some reviews on my progress thus far and any help would be much appropriated.

Thus far I have been focusing on the silhouette of the gun more-so than worrying about chamfering the edges, I figure before I move too far ahead before I need to nail the shape

After I nail the shape and finish the high-poly I plan to take this into Zbrush and model in the screws, the insets and the small details

for the most part that's just an inverted cylinder intersecting the stock. think about it :poly121:

That bolt handle needs some serious re-working. Looks like a thick cartoony drop of water.

@snaFuBAR - Could you please elaborate ? I'm not understanding what you mean by 'inverted cylinder'

create a cylinder and invert the faces. place it so it intersects where that sweeping curve is and you'll see how you can build that shape. i would also get more references of the M4 stock. the more reference you can work from, the better.
