So i've been trying to create a displacement map in Zbrush 4R2 but I keep getting this issue:

Ago33.jpg

It seems to be a Uv thing cuz when I re-unwrap it in zbrush it comes out fine when i redo the dispalcement map. I would do it that way but my unwraps dont come out as great in Zbrush. Not sure what the problem really is because the Uvs seem fine in 3dsmax. Has anyone ever experienced this?

nvm, got it

Yeah posting the solution to this would be really handy for other users who have the same problem in the future.

I know I've had a similar looking problem when using ZBrush versions from 4 upwards where the quads on the UVs are rotated "wrong", as they appear here, even though the model is fine. Normally, exporting the model back into 3DSMax, re-loading the UVs, converting to Edit Poly and re-exporting back to ZBrush fixes the issue.
