3DS Max Trouble with Making Shortcuts

3DS Max 2012 student version, went Customize > Custom User Interface > Assigned some keys that were like Ctrl + H, Ctrl + J etc. However every time I save them and load them by clicking those two buttons, they don't apply. I even saved my scene and restarted Max and still didn't have the shortcuts made. What is the problem?

Are you saving them in your 3dsmax scripts directory?
