Hi All,
I will post some of my scribbles here - feel free to give feedback if you want.
A lot of the sketches are just quickly done - although I might go back to some of them to take them further if I run out of ideas
This first attachment is just a quick ideation sketch for a male toony character.

Thank you for your feedback. The nose was a design choice to emphasise it a bit. When/if continuing this speed sculpt, I will probably use the pinch brush more to get a similar feel to other elements of the character (Ie.Hands, ears and detailing)

Some quick scribbles about what the character could look like underneath - just chiseling away with the clay brush.
Me too
@Caspar
Thanks for your feedback
I tried to play around with it - and the main issue just seems to be the actual angle fo the head rather than the length of the neck (in my opinion).
I might dive back into this underlying body a little later to finish it - but am just focusing on getting the armor done at the moment.

Since I havent really posed things a lot before - I tried to put a scene together of the speed sculpted creature.
I tried to approach it like a gesture drawing, so the anatomy is a bit all over the place - loads to learn

All your other stuff looks great. Cool designs and nice anatomy!
I definitely agree that the running pose works the best out of the two. The other pose is meant to be a mix of a jump and an attack. I might go in and have a tinker with it
Good to see you're posting some work! Some nice stuff, spotted your post on the 'What are you working on' thread and thought it looked like something you or Daz would do!
Keep em coming
Thanks for your comment - I thought it was about time I actually started to use my account in here. Had it for ages, but never really posted anything.
I am going to do some more tweaks to that soldier guy, but he is nearing completion - just adding some more detail before I start thinking about the textures.
Done another speed sculpt and pose below - good practice eventhough I am not super happy about this one..I guess that what sketch books are for

Thanks Mark - it definitely helped with defining them a bit more. He obviously have got a bit more stereotypical - but hey
I just stretched the pelvis a bit and left the belt where it was, but only a little.
@StrongRum
Hi Kavi - good to hear from you I am definitely planning on retopo-ing that last character. Just need a bit more detail in the mesh. I was thinking that the black areas of his clothing were like a wet-suit, but need to put some more folds in, and probably some material noise at the end as well.
After that though - all steam ahead.
Thanks for your comments - much appreciated. I just tried out this other method for getting some silhouettes down quicly and not focus on details too much. I will probably do quite a few more when/if bored
@Duncan - love your Batman
The human is a standard zb-asset - just there for scale.Currently adding resolution to him so I can add wrinkles and skin detail.
