Hello I've been modeling a character according to a turnarounds provided to me, the model is made out of components, the thing being a robot.
So how do i rotate every component in order to reach an animation friendly pose without ending up skewing my meshes?
I've been using "Select and link" in max, but it always ends up skewing my models.
any suggestions would be appreciated.

Other than that, maybe bring it into zbrush or mudbox for their simple posing tools?
unlink everything, reset it's scale then link it together again
