yay first time actually showing my stuff on polycount! So I've always sucked at anatomy so I've decided to start doing speed sculpts and studies and what not, and this is what I have so far...

latest head sculpt, looks nothing like my reference but it's much better than previous attempts

I like seeing people show their studies, it's the best way to gain knowledge. Great Zbrush sculptures. I really need to learn that sometime

your certainly making a lot of progress with the sculpt i like the old man sculpt the most it looks very realistic compared to the others

thanks , I find that old guys are really easy to make realistic since they have so much texture to them. I've learned a LOT about anatomy from doing these but I think I'm still struggling with proportions and general technique with zbrush. All of the heads take a little longer than I would like but I'm definitely getting better. This latest one is my attempt at female sculpts which I always find to be waaaaay harder than male sculpts. This one Im not as much of a fan of, mostly because I did this after pulling an all nighter at our school computer labs but it's all part of the process I guess.

haven't had much time to do head sculpts lately because of school work, however I did have time to do some reference gathering and thumbnails for my next character.

this would be my reference sheet, my goal is to make a scifi villain



and this is the silhouettes that I've come up with. So far I'm really liking the second one, makes me think of old 90's cartoon villains. Please excuse my crappy drawing skills...

another speed sculpt! This time I was practicing the planes of the face. It came out pretty nice I think. Im finally understanding the side of the face, but Im still having huge issues with the eyes and a little bit with the nose.

Done in 1.5 hours. crits are always appreciated

The dreads really make me think of predator now that I think about it.

lol thats what everyone says. I think its impossible to make a character with dreads anymore cuz of that movie XD

I lost my graphic tablet pen which means I have to rent one at the lab which basically means less drawing, but I did manage to make this!

finally got a new tablet pen after my last one got stolen. Bit rusty but I'm getting back into speed sculpting. Went with a more stylized female head for this one

Changed it up a bit with this latest sculpt. We needed some concept for our game Exodus and I wanted to try out some different brushes and techniqes so I guess that 2 birds down.

Another head sculpt! yay! Wanted to go for something really stylized and this is what I came up with. I still really suck at sculpting eyes, if anyone knows of some good tips n tricks for that feel free to drop a link or something. I could sure use it XD
