UDK 32bit No Lights Show

Hey all when I attempt to play the level I built which is just a 512 plane with a light over it, the lights do not appear anywhere except the far edges of the plane.

I'm running UDk on windows XP 32 SP3 with a NVIDIA Geforce 6800 GT

6800GT is probably ancient for UDK... XP might also be a bit old already.

That's kinda funky. Your hardware should at least work, the 6800GT supports SM3, doesn't mean the performance will be very good though. Make sure you have the most recent drivers, and try loading one of the UT3 levels and see if it works properly.

Thanks for your advice

I did load the Necropolis level and it doesn't lag or anything but I can see lighting far away but I can't see any up close lighting. In other words everything around me is dark but everything 20 ft in front of me is lit fine.
