Hey guys just joined this forum and thought i would put some of my starting work here. Humm the first couple images will be the buildings themselvs and a shield. Then two shots of a scene make in UDK to see how they look in a scene together. Its still a good pain in the butt to get things in the SKyrim creation kit, sooo.. more to come.
I think the pattern on the axe has potential, the lines aren't very neat though, if they were much smoother / sharper I think it would look a lot better.
See how the lines are less wobbly and brighter? Try for that. If you use the pen tool in photoshop and spend a lot of time on it you could get a really crisp pattern going.
You should really use imgur or something to host your images so you can embed them in the forums using "" sans quotes. It's free after all!
That said I think you might want to line up the elements/decorations on your helmet better so the design is more cohesive as a whole. (namely the copper lines running through)
Right now it's making it seem more like a collage of different elements than a cohesive piece, and there's some skewing and waviness/UV distortion happening especially along the top spherical section. Usually this waviness on the texture is caused by a lack of sufficient edges to support the bends/curves in the geometry.

This archeological find is what i was going after i liked the lesser white of it showing a little age on the inlay silver.
