While blocking out stuff and importing it to UDK, i get alot of Pinching.
See picture Below.
Anybody know what can cause this problem? (I haven't UV'ed anything yet).
I'll load up wireframe and also a simple render picture showing you how far i've come (or how short..).

Like the poster above said, double check that you don't have two verts there. If not it's just a lightmap issue, because you don't have any UVW's on channel 2(channel 1 in UDK since UDK starts at 0).
Thanks guys!
The thought behind this environment is basically learn to finish stuff i start.
Well except for that, it'll be my project to continue learning to use the Maya tools and Photoshop to texture. This is a project i really really really want and need to finish. So Any crituques are welcomed. PS! Learn how to play around with it in UDK DS!
So the process.
* Reference (Done, basically)
* Blockout (WIP)
* Modelling
* UVW
* Texture
I want to use this as a game Environment for my portfolio!
Best Regards and Happy Easter

Got any idea on how to work the Camera thingy so it matches the whole environment better?
http://forums.epicgames.com/threads/707721-Q-Change-the-viewport-FOV-(field-of-view)
I think what ayoub44 was getting at is the camera isn't making the street look long enough. You can change the camera FOV in the console command or change it in the script file. Play around with it and see what you can come up with
cheers, will try that one out. But i thought he meant that i should make my camera similar to the FOV in the concept, so i can notice the change while working in Maya.= )
This is the latest Update, Put in mind, everything is still in WIP.
Would appreciate help on how i should do the roof of the Church.
Thanks in Advance!
when texturing this environment . you should use tiling textures because you have a lot
of building and you can't make for each building a unique textures . you have maybe five
building ( for each one 1024*1024 maps ) that a lot for a game environment so should you
use a couple texture to make the job done ;
here is a examlpe :
the idea is to use one texture and try to to texture one or two building or three whit it ; if you are going
to use udk you can use material editor to change color of texture to make it look like
unique i hope this help
and hope someone replay and explain to you better and sorry for my bad english
