started working on this guy yesterday- thought i'd get some feedback

Define the ears more, especially the lower parts, and bring out the nose more while still keeping it flat in shape.

good call, i can do the nose but not so much the ears as that would mean starting a lot of this again- next time though-

Too many post process effects, turn em down/off for critiques. You have what looks like the start of a texture. You have some skin texture, and some stubble. But the lips dont look like lips, same with skin around eyes, nose, eyebrows, hair, etc.

it's going to be viewed ingame with these post-fx so i do want it viewed as it will be seen however i will post plain shots too

Well, depends, I think the desaturated look kinda compliments the characters surreal attributes.

At the same time, I'm not sure, for a lack of better terms, what your final vision is? Are you aiming for a Gorrliaz kinda of character?

not going for anything in particular except my own natural style. it's a sort of ape-man thing. so whatever looks good really, and thats what i hope to gauge with the help of you guys
