UDK Character Creation Pipelines?

Hi guys Geordie here, I am currently writing up a dissertation on character production for games, and the target engine is UDK.

My University has trained me to use UDK and has given me an extensive pipeline to work with. I am however interested in hearing how other people create characters for UDK as my dissertation is focused on the discussion of UDK character pipelines. Something to bare in mind however is that the pipeline below is aimed at producing a turntable and not a rigged character mesh.

The pipeline I am currently using is -
  1. Concept
  2. Base Mesh (3DsMax)
  3. High Poly (Zbrush)
  4. Re-topology (Zbrush or Max)
  5. UVW's (Max)
  6. Texturing (Normals,AO,Diffuse etc)
  7. Rendering in Max or present within UDK

Any pipelines are welcome if only for the purpose of comparing them.
