I know you're going for "bare" but you could add the doorframes at least? and a little trim that goes along the base of the walls? Maybe experiment with a couple different mood lightings here.
i really dont plan to touch this image for a while
i will add some door frames thou
when i wanna impress you will know it
thanks thou
Needs door trim, floor/ceiling trim/molding, lights (wall sconces perhaps?), electrical outlets, tables/stands, flowers/plants, picture frames or mirrors. The hallway does look strange being a perfect square. Doors look a little too wide. Maybe a window at the end of the hall instead of another room?. Could use a separation of materials, even for the render (ie; less spec for the carpet). Right now everything is just the same. Even for a learning experiment, those kinds of art basics will help people focus on the scene and not the obvious issues.
not arrogant
and if you noticed
i thanked him for his opinion
I'm sorry. I meant that more mildly than it sounded. I think the way I worded that was pretty douchy. I didn't mean to sound like a dick.
