Hey to all,

I was wondering if anyone had a good naming convention or terminology system I could use to name the ARGB channels in my Gloss map (and use them as Masks if desired) for artist friendly reasons.

To give an example of what I mean:

+Diffuse+
=Enable Diffuse Roughness (Oren-Nayar)?

(User defines if they will use Oren or not, if Yes, they will get extra controls to show below.)

-Diffuse Roughness : 0.5

(User defines universal roughness for the whole mesh).

-Enable Diffuse Roughness per Gloss/Rough ARGB Channels?

(If yes, user will get extra controls to display like this).

Alpha Diffuse Roughness
Red Diffuse Roughness
Green ''
Blue ''

The problem is, Enable Diffuse Roughness per yadda, is really long and may potentially end up confusing artists, and Technical artists may end up being annoyed as it's not 'standard' written or not using the correct terminology.

So anyone have tips?
