Critique Needed!

I added some distress to the steps but I really have a hard time knowing how much distress to add in perhaps I have been working to close to this. Could someone try a paintover or something, giving me some ideas. The ammount I'm thinking is maybe some hairline fractures and maybe a few broken off pieces. Ultimately I want this to look good so any paintovers or Critiques would be much appriciated. Thank You

the stairs require cracks, and broken pieces. You were right. Please do post in the PnP section for more accurate critics.

Actually, if you wish to make stairs (just) crack and make it look used through out the centuries, it is also a best idea to think about doing the same to the side pieces, They look really new but than again, it is too early to tell.

Not many people get a good response if such said thread is in the wrong location, you might get something, but if you post it in Pnp section than you will definitely get something. They will judge your piece inside out and give you their honest critics about it, even if it is brutal though must be said to force you to do an even better job than this.
