Hello!
I was playing around with the new landscape feature, and while i could create new landscape without heightmap, i have problems creating landscape using heightmap. The "create landscape button" just isn't highlighted.
So first things first, maybe problem in texture itself.
So, lets say in Photoshop cs5, i create new black-white image, 2048x2048.
I then go to Image->Mode->Grayscale. Also, in same menu, i switch to 16-bit per channel.
I then choose save as, and select Photoshop RAW (*.raw), and the window is opened with some settings.
What are the correct settings here?
Anyhow, back to UDK.
I click on Landscape button, i get this settings. I load my hightmap, set these (or any other that the documantion says), and the button is still dissabled:
So, does anyone getting, what am i doing wrong? Probably something to do with heightmap i'm guessing?
Oh btw, since we are speaking of landscapes, when you use texture layers, can you only use 3 or can i use more then three?
Cheers,
Zocky

I'm using latest version of UDK.
Thanks!
Edit: Also, when i import the heightmap in UDK it sets the size to 1024 X 2048, but in Photoshop its 1024 Square
Recommended Landscape Sizes
I don't know if that's only for when creating a Landscape without importing a heightmap or not. But maybe try one of the listed sizes and see if that helps.
The free edition of World Machine restricts me to 512.
