Another noob question, and I am sure this one has been asked a million times. On my pursuit of going back to basics I have ran into an issue where a simple cube is getting weird shading in the bottom corner, this seems to be happening to all faces on the cube. There are 2 UV sets, each of which has 0-1 UV space, with no overlapping, and a neutral normal map and flat diffuse.
Is there some sort of vertex shading being applied here or what? It's just the UDK Daylight template, with nothing changed, I simply just dropped in the cube I exported from maya, and placed it above the existing cube in the scene.

Looks like you have soft edges instead of hard edges. But by default the maya cube should have hard edges so hmm..
