Been working on this for a few weeks on and off. This is my first model since I got my new computer, which makes life so much easier especially creating the high poly model with lots of detail.
Anyway...

@jordan.kokon: Yeah think I got that wrapped up in making the high poly cord that I forgot to consider the length! Silly mistake. But yeah it may not be a realistic length but it is still practical and would still work if you were to imagine using it.
@Darkleopard: Yes this was a design choice, the ref was more of a texture reference.
@jeremiah_bigley: You are right. I find it hard to stop myself from overworking the diffuse while working on it for long periods. Now I have had a while away from the asset I can definitely see where your coming from. I suppose less is more which is a hard thing to grasp when working your diffuse and specular at different stages, need to get into the habbit of creating both at the same time!
