Outsourcing Manager (Full-Time)
Cryptic Studios is looking for a talented Outsourcing Artist with the ability to review, critique and process outsourced art assets for our next-gen MMO, as well as create 2D and 3D assets.

· Making fun games side-by-side with some of the industrys most brilliant and passionate developers.
· Infusing rich and beautiful worlds with life by creating costumes, characters, monsters, and weapons through every step of the process.
· Guiding a team of artists to create art that stands up to our highest standard of quality.
Responsibilities:
· Model, texture, skin and implement character art into the game.
· Improve, revise, and implement existing assets in the pursuit for quality.
· Present art for review by the Lead Artists and Art Director.
· Provide verbal and written critiques of assets for internal and external users.
What we'd like to see:
· 2+ years professional industry experience creating 2D and 3D art assets.
· Proficiency with Photoshop and 3D Studio Max or Maya.
· Ability to skin characters for animation.
· Must have an excellent understanding of how 3D assets work in game.
· Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal.
· Exceptional organizational skills.
Desired Skills and Pluses:
· Strong technical background.
· Experience in Max/Maya scripting APIs.
· Proficiency in Z-Brush.
· Experience developing for MMOs.
· Fluent in Chinese.
