Hi guys,
I was just given an older Waycom Graphire, and I wanted your opinions on the specific model. I was in the process of saving to purchase one, but if this is good enough for use with 3ds max 2012, PS CS5, and Mudbox 2012. Then I will probably stick with this one and save my money. What do you guys think. This is my very 1st pen tool. And I am having a little of a time getting used to it.
Thanks,
Lee

What I do notice is less buttons, lack of application profiles and (somewhat rarely), lack of tilt function. Whether that is worth $250 or more is up to you, but personally I would trade my intuos in a heartbeat for a discount on a cintiq or a penabled tablet like the Lenovo X220T, Fujitsu T901, HP 2760p (and I am sure there are more).
Escaping this desk and painting while laying down in my couch would be like a dream.
edit: just noticed some of the older graphires don't have any buttons on them 0.o. I don't think I would be able to live with that.
also, despite it having buttons, i haven't used them even once. i do all shortcuts i need on my keyboard.
