I think it's a neat gadget, but takes up far too much space (with all the cameras around the room), is an overly complex interfacing method with not a whole lot of benefits (3d desktop vs 2d one, too reliant on users body movement) and it's laggy and imprecise. Lag and precision can be fixed with time, no problem, but the first two are design issues.
The technology is interesting, but the application isn't so much. It's funny to see how that's usually the case with engineers.
