So this is a class project for my college course team production, we are to create a small game and utilize what UDK has to offer. Our premise so far ( really rough ideas )
" A world filled with pony-like life forms living peacefully, are invaded by unknown life forms who need to harvest their happniess"
So this is our final template for my partner Kirk, who is the concept artist as well as the texture artist, and my own work, I do the low poly modeling. This is the starting village that our hero will begin his adventure. We had a lot of fun on the project so far, the second part of the class will start next quarter and I can only hope to help produce more work. Hopefully you will enjoy, and C&C are always welcome.
There really seems to be varying level of detail on your textures there. The models are solid, but being hand-painted, there are certain areas that seem rather solid colour bodies that could use some detail.
The ones that stand out to me the most is the concrete surrounding the statue (ie, the pathway, and the concrete facades to the sides), the stone parts of the fencing, and the transitions between the grass(?) parts of the roofs of your assorted homes.
Other than that, great work, looks like a neat little project you've got going on there.
