The actual idea behind Epcot is awesome, it was suppose to be a future city, a circle is pretty efficient for travel. If I recall correctly it was suppose to be pretty self sufficient so those outer circles around the edge are farm land, normal housing would be near the middle circles in more of suburbs, and there would be a city area in the very center.

Yeah I remember studying how a lot of the layout at Disney is designed with some psychology for drawing people to and from areas of interest in order to make sure people get to see everything. Its pretty clever how the iconic Disney castle has shorter proportions the higher it gets in order to make it appear taller than it really is.
