Ok, never needed to look into this before now but the model I am currently working on is in need of some transparency.
I don't need any fancy gradiant transparency just plain and simple opacity change, to achieve a see-through plastic effect. I have tried alpha maps in diffuse with 3point shader, but I either get the panels to vanish or they just go black.
The above image is 3ds max material opacity change to show what I want to achieve through texture maps. The red is just placeholder so you know where to look.
I have searched around but found little about controlling the transparency of the alpha(if thats possible, which I'm guessing it is)
Information on Marmoset transparacy or 3point shader would be great, as their websites offer little info on it.
