Hi everyone,
I recently decided to try to retopologize one of my first 3D models. I like the form of the spider, but the mesh topology is horrible (when I started with Maya, I had no idea what good topology actually means, so the spider is assembled from many single objects). So I tried to do it in TopoGun and did not succeed - it was almost impossible to draw new mesh on the tiny long legs
I suspect that it is generally very difficult, if not impossible, to make retopology for such kind of mesh. But maybe I am wrong - please, share your experience on retopology of such things! Or should I better completely remodel it from the scratch?
P.S. Could not figure out how to attach a picture (is it only possible through url link?)

and yes you have to upload your picture somewhere and then link it here.

I decided the best strategy for me would be to retopologize the body/head and to remodel the legs.
I used to think that retopology should be quicker than modelling, but it seems not to be a universal case. Not that I have a lot of experience (honestly, none real yet).
To bk3d: thanks for link!
