Yeah, I love Mad Men! I think it's definitely improved as the show has progressed too. Season four was excellent - I think they did a good job of humanizing and balancing the characters more than in previous seasons. I'm definitely looking forward to the new season, but I'll probably wait until it's over and watch it all then.

Yeah you stopped right when stuff actually starts happening at the end of season 3. I would say it is worth starting where you left off. A lot changed.
Fat Betty completely shocked me. Aperently it was a fat suit, but I think they did a pretty good job of it.
The Lane vs. Peter fight was awesome.
How intense was that choking dream sequence with Don?! I almost had a heart attack lol. So crazy. I like how they were sort of painting him as a drug addict in withdrawal in that episode though (withdrawal from cheating).

Really good premiere. It left me wanting more after, especially because of the ridiculous break since the previous season ended.
I like to think the show is like Seinfeld but not. It's a show about nothing, but in a dramatic way instead of comedic.
