Having a bit of a problem trying to bake a normal map in 3ds Max (new to it, have no problem with maya and xNormal)
I go through the procedure of setting it all up and creating the correct maps i want etc. But when i hit render it comes up with a flatten map box and it changes all my uvs. Not cool!
Im using 3ds max 2012. Have created my own uvs, so not sure why it would do its own mapping? I am guessing it is a tick box or something but cant see one? Is there a way to see if uvs are flipped? Could that be it. Sorry i have no images to show can get some it it helps.

It was trying to render to a different uv channel! Got it sorted!
