First off fucking awesome! We really need more Doctor Who love around here. Only crit I can spot right now is the normals on the bottom should be softened a bit.

That Dalek is awesome. Biofrost the ones you referenced are the crazy new ones with Matt Smith. I think the one Darklight was using as ref were the ones that David Tennant faced.
Indeed, I was aiming towards the 2005-2010 Dalek model before the "New paradigm" Daleks.
I'm not too keen on the newer Dalek design because quite frankly the new design was only put in because the current writer felt the old design was too scary.

I'm looking at getting this in Cryengine as an AI, never done this before so I'm sure this will be a good learning experience.
Ha did not know that about the redesign! As if they can be too scary?! I wasn't a massive fan of the redesign either tbh. They just looked too clunky and clumsy!

Let me know how you go with that, I had a play around with it a while back, your best bet would probably making a new set of animations and modifying the default grunt entity.

I can get lower FOV images if it will help though.
