Wow, I'm loving the details near the horse and blade, but the handle looks really busy and clustered. I'd honestly try something similar to your initial thumbnail sketch with the sectioned cloth. Remember that your tri budget is pretty limited so be careful how ornate you make that blade. Big, chunky shapes are better than swift and swirly ones.
That is Wizard! Totally agree with the Max on the handle. Your inital idea was cleaer/easyer to read and feels more Darksiders. Its now too busy and to many small skulls.

Wow! Such a great concept. I like the idea, it reminds me "Incitatus" the Horse of the mad Roman Emperor Caligula. This one has real potential! Gonna check the progress more frequently.
Wow, didn`t see this before, really amazing!!!! may be you should add some geometry to the skulls area, they look a little bit flat, and since you`re under the 1500 limit, i think it`s worth it :thumbup:
