Hello Polycounters, how are you today?
I hope everyone is fine.
About two days ago I came across this forum by chance and I have been taking a look around and browsing it. Seems like a good community and naturally, I just browse without any formal introduction and post here and there... but I came across the "Inspirational thread with Getting into the industry" and one post had a line that goes a long "Be a man and participate properly"; it reminded me of a stand up comedy episode done by Russel Peters saying "Be a MAN!" and I thought I should introduce myself and do this properly.
I am 23 years living in Egypt that is hoping to become a 3D Environment Artist/Level Designer. My major is architecture and I already have a portfolio with my previous work (all of which done in university as arch viz, nothing game related). I won't post that here considering it is General Forums and not the relevant one, plus it is crappy work anyway.
Currently picking up on changing my workflow to match that of games after 6.5 years of using Max without knowing what are "triangles" for.
I hope I posted this in the correct section (I have been browsing for sometime and couldn't find a forum section for newbies).
