This concept by Andrew Ley is great! I've seen a couple attempts at it in 3D around the web, but nothing for games. I decided that would be a fun challenge that would push me out of my comfort zone.
I'm curious what you guys think so far. I'm open to feedback on all of it. There are a few errors I want to smooth out, and there are plenty of places that the wires can be optimized, but overall I'm happy with the direction it's going in right now. Continuing with the diffuse now.
Hope you like it!

For now I'd say just fix the mohawk and tubes, because it's really easy to add some extra cuts there.
On the highpoly, I'm seeing several spots where you've taken a shortcut with he shapes, resulting in a less attractive model. For example the switch all the way at the bottom, lacking the threads/ridges on the outermost pipe connectors, and a whole load of missing indents/holes all over the model.
As for the poly distribution, I think you're totally right in those areas. I will revisit them before I move on to adding more detail.
Thanks!
Making progress. Re-approaching the low-poly was a great idea, it helped me to tackle a few of the problems I was running into.
