That's good because you are using elements that are already in the game and are darksiders style, and you know they work, but its like the spike and the splittled concentric circles, and the skull are... repeating from that other scythe and that somehow subs some originality.
Also the union between the main blade and the stick seems a bit weak. Just my 2 cents.
Hey at least you are getting some feedback. I do like your asymmetrical design. I know its late in the design but I feel that if you pulled the bottom edge of the big blade down even further it would add to that design even more!
If your gif is actually animated then it'll work if you just paste the link in. If you're not sure how to do it, why not try an alternative called meshbin. It lets you upload a model so you can rotate it and stuff. The people that have used it so far received some useful feedback as well like seams that the author didn't notice.
I know how you feel, 1500 tris is not a lot at all. I have seen weapons in the range of 1500-2000 though. Its best to try to get as close to 1500 as possible but you wont be knocked out of the running if its a little over. Mine is 1620.

Dunno what happened with the angelic one, but I guess I'll pass on that theme anyway.
I'm going with the Darksiders core one. will still implement some aspects from the kingdom of death them.

I think I took too long with the conceptual stage. I think I'll start on the modelling soon.
I'll probbly be going with either V5 or V2. for now I think I got my form covered.

I know I look bad but with my side projects, I really cant afford starting over a new design
I had the Design done on the 17th, does that help me prove anything?
