The PlayMaker sale has been extended until April 8th!
Unity is also running a special until April 8th, offering free iOS and Android licenses!
So now is a great time to check out Unity3D and PlayMaker...
I wonder how much this does for people who can actually program, like me. Seems like it might speed up some time. I wish there were more Youtube video's on it that didn't just show some wimpy use of it. Anyone know of any complex examples with it?
We've found that programmers quite like PlayMaker too
One recent asset store review from a programmer:
I'm a programmer, so I didn't think I needed this tool, but I'm VERY glad I downloaded it. I can rapid prototype my projects without wasting time with the nuances of code. Seeing where my game is visually is such an appealing way to develop. Highly recommended!
While they may seem simple, the Animation Graph video, for example, shows functionality that's normally only available in very expensive middleware like Havok Behavior!

You can control scripts with Script Control Actions:

And generic Get/Set Property Actions:

You can also create your own custom actions:

And use PlayMakerFSMs in your scripts:

So you have a lot of options if you know how to program...
