Hey guys!
I'm in my final year at university and for my main project I am doing a small investigation into video games and their relationship with players. I would really appreciate it if you could take 2-5minutes of your time to fill out my survey!

Survey Link; https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/B7HLFWS

Many thanks and have a nice day!

What the... here are my internal thoughts while doing your survey.
    1. Name your five favourite video games

Ok sure, FFVIII, Chrono Trigger, Bastion, LoL, CS:S.

    2. Which of the following best describes your chosen games?

    Only these categories?

    3. How violent is the content in these video games, in your opinion?

Oh man, I hope I'm not contributing to some sort of violent video game paper.

    4. How often do you play....

How often... I... I haven't played Chrono Trigger in years. Same goes with FFVIII. I quit LoL and CS:S ages ago. I'm currently playing through Bastion. No consideration for past favorites.

    5. When playing your video games, how often do you see scenes of;

All the time. Shit, I really am contributing to some sort of video game violence paper.

    6. Do you ever get frustrated while playing video games?

Ever get frustrated while taking a survey? Then yes.

    7. Which video games frustrate you the most and why?

The ones in which I die? Fail to meet the objective?

    8. Do you prefer to play violent video games more than non-violent video games?

Yes, all the time. I like to play violent video games, masturbate furiously, then beat my girlfriend.

    9. Could you describe why?

I like violence? Is that what you wanted?

OH GAWD there is a page 2.

    10. I am furious
    11. I feel irritated
    12. I feel angry
    13. I feel like yelling at somebody
    14. I feel like breaking things
    15. I am mad
    16. I feel like banging on the table
    17. I feel like hitting someone
    18. I feel like swearing
    19. I feel annoyed
    20. I feel like kicking someone
    21. I feel like cursing out loud
    22. I feel like screaming
    23. I feel like pounding someone
    24. I feel like shouting out loud

    ... Closes browser.

I -really- hate being the asshole, but this was a really bad survey.

I have to agree with Stradigos there. For the first page I gave it the benefit of doubt, but when I saw the second page I also just closed the survey.

you should probably put a video of a gruesome car accident online 2 times
one time you put the word"gruesome video accident on it" and the other time "ingame footage"
you will see the difference in the comments

I went through the entire thing.

I'm suspecting you had a requirement to have 100 questions, but I'd suggest the entirety of the second page is redundant - it asks the user 15 times if they're angry in different wording. There's also a lot of repetition on the following pages. You could probably cut down the size of this questionnaire by half without losing any data and you'd wind up with a lot more people working all the way through it.

lol, pretty biased survey. Aren't surveys meant to get as many opinions as possible in a structured way so you can analyze the data so you get an honest view on the subject of the survey? in order for that you need a survey that would respect and listen to both sides of a story.

OMG, that proves it! Since 2008, both violent crimes and video-game sales have dropped. That means only one thing. Video games ARE crime!

I was just suggesting if you think there's a relationship between violence in video games and violence in people you are going to have to explain the inverse correlation between video game sales and violence crime rates.

There's other factors that better suggest why violent crime rates have gone down, but that is a different topic.

Chrome popped up with an error message saying "Error marking as unread!" on each page, might be something to do with the website, or Chrome, or something else.

Anyway when I saw the first question I decided to close it because I hate listing "favourite games". So many different games I love for different reasons, they really can't be compared with eachother.
