This sculpt is pure awesome. I would not expect that after first two posts!!
Great work on those faces. I am a bit worried about the empty space inside, maybe you should cover it up with some kind of shield? Now it looks to fragile.
Its all very pretty but I was actually wondering if you are making it too pretty? darksiders stuff is quite hard looking with fairly big shapes and cracks and damage on it even the angelic axes in the contest page look fairly hard and sharp in design http://www.polycount.com/darksiders-ii-create-a-weapon-contest/
Sometimes, I go back to the sculpting, after receiving the low poly model.
At the moment I can not imagine how low poly will look. Now the main task, a common vision in 3D. Then, I hope, to keep all items with a limited polycount.
I do think the design angelic in Darksiders looks ascetic.
The presence of hard edges and corners give a special style Darksiders
I maybe overdid it with the luxury and details, but I very want to retreat a little bit of out style, and add a bit of my vision in angelic mace. :icon15:
The sculpt is astounding! I agree with making it look more weathered to some extent, subtle cracks and wear, but not enough to take TOO much away from the angelic theme. Great job!
If you are going to have it metallic like that (I know you are testing) maybe have it interwoven with silver metals in order to help punch the normal map. As it is it seems you had to cut too much out and are losing some of the detail, though that could be just washing out from the material.
You should lose some of the skittles on the edge of the wings. Darksiders, angelic in particular, is not colored like that. It focuses mainly on golds, cremes, and browns.
Very nice sculpt otherwise.
Fantastic looking work, I've been following this thread from the start. I was just wondering if you had ever planned on bashing it up a little. It's very pristine looking, which doesn't seem likely if you're going to be smashing people with it. I think it would look neat having a big chunk missing from one of the wings, and just some general wear and tear on some other spots. Best of luck to you in the judging.

I agree with you. It looks fragile, but I only began to sculpt and I'll think about how to fix it.
and I have an idea how to add weight to the form! 8)

I still stand by my comment. I think those multi colour gems look like smarties but kudos for finishing. It's a strong entry.
