I'm suppose to be practicing with speed modeling right now but my brain just found a way to slack off!
Some of these tutorials, sites and Maya's documentation are where I learned the most.

slorpthegillman Hes got some good Beginer stuff and some Character modeling stuff on his channel
blenderdocs He has about 40 videos on Character modeling in blender
FZDSchool (2D), Not only are his Creations beautiful but every video is informative
SpoonfishLee He has some good Timelapse Digi painting videos WITH fitting Music
NextgenHardsurface Has some good tutorials over at their place (All Modeling i think).
