Couldn't pass this competition up, looks too fun

Just getting started on some concepts. I started out thinking I wanted to do Demonic, but the more I thought about it the more I gravitated toward Crow Temple. The concept on the left is where I'm at currently, the others are just to let everyone know kinda where I started out. I haven't quite figured out where I'm going with the handle yet and I'm searching for more opportunities to incorporate bone. Hopefully I'm done with this phase soon, I'm eager to start modeling.

Personally, I was most drawn to the far right. It is definitely not "all there" yet, but the feel and the silhouette are solid and very appealing.

Thanks guys!! Yeah I agree mostly with the comment about the far right one, I was really digging it but I felt the design didn't really reach far beyond a crow head on a stick, also it was feeling less feasible as an axe and more like a staff. I feel like the design on the far left kind of hit the darksiders feel a little better. Bold shapes and a sense of weight.

A few adjustments made to the concept. I went reading through the rules again and found that I missed the whole part about our constraints. So a I made a few adjustments accordingly. This is leaning more toward final, but I'm going to let it sit until the weekend just in case some cool ideas pop up.

Love the angular shapes and aggressive design! cool work!

One thing though, it looks like it might be a little short in length in comparison to the primitive supplied. Really easy to fix though and should not effect the design at all.
