Hi, first time posting here. Looking forward to being part of this forum.
Here are some weapon concepts I've done. I want to do one of each of the weapons, but if i run out of time i'll being doing an axe as my first choice.

Spug

I do dig the top concept the best, but I would regather just see it as a mace, rather than an axe. The only reason is, if you have all those round elements for the sculls, it would be a shame to see it flattened by a blade. Try ripping off the blade, and leave the sculls that are coming out of his mouth, to an FX artist that would have this thing puking souls as you were hit, and devouring them as you kill. Keep it up, looking good!

I like that demon head thing you got going on but the blade breaks the flow. I was thinking suggesting to turn it into a hammer but smashing a face around makes not that much sense. Not sure, don't like having the blade where it is anyway. Perhaps you could do some re-arrangement, but I do like that head!

Thanks for the crits Spug and AimBiZ, took the blade off and turned it into a hammer- looks much better like this imo. thanks! I know we cant do any fire effects so maybe just ignore the flames in the end two.

These are looking great. I dig the one you chose to work up but I love the potential of the hammer labeled 3 in the second image from the top.

Welcome :P Hey dude! awesome work, I dunno if I like the last one. It doesnt look like it does Big damage (maybe if his horn was facing more down?). I really like number 1 and 2 from you first concepts. Expecially the second one if you can push purple in there with the cool crows wings coming off the top?

Jiiina, Bobo, spug, overmarvelous: thanks for the feedback:) want to try fit in another weapon concept: but i should really start modelling soon. here is an idea for an axe i started this weekend. As for the hammer/mace I'm leaning towards doing either 2 or 3 from the previous image.

In the drawings in post #4, are the horns or the face supposed to be the bashing end? I like 3 and 4 in post 1. You have a lot of cool ideas to work with so far.

Didn't find enough time to finish this for the deadline, but here is how far I got. Not liking the handle though- I need to change that.
