Hey guys,
Allow me to introduce you to
MageMaze! A game developed by me and gameartisans' walrus (
Michael Dashow) outside of our normal day job hours where I did all the programming and Michael did all the art.
MageMaze is a turn based puzzle game for the iPhone and iPod touch where you play as Svenn the Svaliant; a speech impaired sviking desperate to clear his name for past mishaps. And what better way to do so then by invading a svile mage's maze-like dungeons to reclaim the gold said mage stole from the svillagers.
We just recently updated our web build of our game after a very long time as we were in a bit of a hiatus last year. But this time around we are definitely pushing for a summer release. There are a lot of things not present in the demo that are in the device builds.
Anyway, pictures say so much more then words. And you can play a live demo of the game on our website at

how long did it take to get this far?
We started this game in february 2010 I believe. 2011 was a bad year for us due to personal issues, but we started full gear again last december. It also took so long because I'm a retard and I coded almost everything myself (AI, Inventory/Item system, GameState management, Sound Manager, etc...). Lesson well learned I'd say!
I remember playing your early builds off the GA.org postings. Glad you finally got it off the ground Maph.
