Just been lurking but I need to pick up my game. Starting a sketchbook to get some good feedback and to keep myself on track.
I will try to post updates every night. Crits and insight is always welcome.

The temple is still a wip, the foreground is not working right and the grass in general is pretty lame.

Your snow is looking really nice!
I'm not an expert at all, but have you tried maybe using vertical brush strokes instead of horizontal for the grass?
I don't really know if it would work, but might be worth a try
The temple architecture looks very cool too!

anyway totally restarted the temple from above. I like how this came out, lot more atmosphere.

Wow, Dust this sketchbook off.  Im on that 9 - 5 grind now so less time for art.  Did this tonight in the span of 2 hours.  Color is tricky but I am feeling ok about this... for now.

Found sketchbook pro and I am really liking it.  I really need to get fast as I feel like I could work on these forever but I am not getting much more out of it.  

Any crits would be great. especially with color/value tips.

Still WIP color.  I have spent way too much time on this and spin my wheels alot.  oh well!,  I like how the face turned out on this one.
