Thought I'd join in on this awesome challenge, I'm going with the angelic theme, did a couple of silhouettes and probably gonna do a lot more before I decide on a design.
Any thoughts?

7 Realy takes my eye. Though 3 also looks nice, and 4 looks nice and heavy.

I like 1, 2 and 7. How about the blade/head from 1 and the handle from 7.

Quick paint, I decided to just start this thing and see where it goes, I always have troubles picking and sticking to a design.

Couple of notes.
-Not sure about the spikes
-Colors need tweaking to fit better in the angelic setting
-Handle needs pimpin'
-Add some overall details.

Looks really good man.
I'd take out the red though.
Angels in Darksiders seem to be more around white/gray and pale blue tones.

Looking promising, Though I agree with pulyx that a different tone instead of the red might not only work better in the angellic theme. It might make the whole weapon get a holier feeling to it. And I still like the spikes , makes it feel like a meat hammer you can find in the kitchen.

Looking great. I suggest to bulk both tips of the weapon, top and bottom, they could benefit from being wider than handle. Also (although I like this symmetric design) you could try to cut one half and extend the wing similar to miniatures 1,2 from first post? Don't worry about the design changes, because they should end when you will post your final screenshots, not sooner
