interesting take on the original concept. i personally liked the x-shaped design, but that's just me.

i think in general your design is kind of lacking in visual interest. Which theme were you going for? Try tying in some of the thematic elements to make your design more punchy, with variation using different shapes and stuff. keep up the good work!
