I took the time today to look through his old artwork for Star Wars and I must say, it's simply awe-inspiring. He pretty much defined exactly how the films looked. It's such a shame that George Lucas gets all the recognition for Star Wars; McQuarrie was the guy who pretty much made it what it is.
