Nice idea with having a spider though everything looks too fragile right now. Beef it up a bit. Also make things less curvy and more rigid/bulky would be in order. Simply make it look like it could really hurt things.

a quick 3d mockup, tried to beef it up a little. This is also how it fits with the correct proportions of a Darksiders weapon (downloaded the .obj)
