Awesome contest is awesome I love the style of Darksiders and it'll be good practice since I haven't tried anything like this before.

Did some concept sketches. Planning on detailing them some more once I made up my mind

cool designs, although I think the blades are a bit thin, making them look fragile. I also heard BoBo saying that everything in darksiders is exaggerated and big.

Just food for thought! awesome designs anyways.

Worked a bit more on the silhouette. Still thinking if I'm going to make it a core or kingdom of the dead weapon.

I really like the blade, very unique shape. I'm not too sure about that detail in the middle. In the stream Bobo mentioned that things need to be chunky and thick, and its looking a little on the fragile side in the middle there. Maybe wrapping chains around that section would work better. and having the skull connect directly with the handle instead of the little pole/bolt there and have that bolt going through the area above the teeth.
