Awesome contest! Loved the first Darksiders and cant wait for the 2nd

Pretty sure Im going to give up on my design for the maker hammer and start from scratch, the design is too boring, here's a pic of where I'm at (ignore symmetry it would have unique details in final)


Couple more designs, pretty sure the axe is very close to what I'll be doing for the final, the angelic design I may alter to work more as a mace.

Ok so I'm gonna see how much I can get done in one focused weekend. I made some changes to the hammer but I'm still not very happy with it, so I'm gonna put most of my efforts into getting a mace done.

Here is my quick 3d concept, alot of the shapes are gonna change and I need a way to make it feel "beefier" Gonna go with the kingdom of the dead, so more skulls, wraps, and spikes to come in future updates

Welp I tried but im not gonna be able to finish in time, I could pull an all nighter but I have a lot to do at work tomorrow so that wouldn't be good

Got it baked and got base colors layed out, Ill finish it at some point but sadly not before 11 am this morning
